Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America

Join JWV in the Fight Against Anti-Semitism

Winter 2017

Last week we asked members and friends of JWV to take action against the attacks on American Jewish life. Our efforts are paying off.

letter signed by every US Senator was sent to the Attorney General and the Directors of Homeland Security and FBI, calling for “swift action” to end the bomb threats and culture of fear brought upon Jewish organizations. They are direct, stating:

We are concerned that the number of incidents is accelerating and failure to address and deter these threats will place innocent people at risk… We also recognize the anti-Semitic sentiment behind this spate of threats and encourage your Departments to continue to inform state and local law enforcement organizations of their obligations under the Hate Crime Statistics Act.

An additional letter, proposing an increase in funding for the Non-Profit Security Grant Program, is in the works. The funding would expand security training for nonprofits such as the JCC. With one third of our Posts meeting at JCCs, there is much at stake.

However, since the Senate’s action, more threats have been made against JCCs and now the Anti-Defamation League. This must stop. We served our nation to protect the very freedoms and security now under attack.

JWV needs you to keep fighting anti-Semitism.

Use our template letters to write your local officials and President Trump. Recruit others to take action with you. Demand more action, more communication, and more funding. Urge the passing of Bill H.R.6421, the Anti‐Semitism Awareness Act of 2016. Our voices must be heard.

Jewish War Veterans of the USA is a 501c4 Veteran Service Organization. If you wish to help the veteran and protect the fair name of the Jews, donate now.
