Latest Homicide Bombing Underscores PA Barbarism

Spring 2002

Jewish War Veterans of the USA (JWV) National Commander Bernard Becker has issued a call for President Bush to suspend all contacts with the Palestinian Authority in the wake of yesterday's homicide bombing in Rishon Le'Zion. "Given the barbaric behavior of the Palestinians, their encouragement of Anti-Semitism, their funding of the families of these homicide bombers, and the involvement of the Palestinian Authority in every stage of these murders, it is appropriate that the US live up to its declaration that those who harbor terrorists will be treated as terrorists themselves," Mr. Becker declared. "Let the world know that we mean what we say, and that we are not fooled or intimidated like the pathetic Europeans, hiding hatred of Jews and Muslims behind supposed compassion for the poor Palestinians." "The fact of the matter is, the Palestinians and their Arab brethren are not complaining because there have been wars between them and the Israelis. They are complaining about the outcomes! Truthfully, the term for that," Mr. Becker said, "is losers. They keep starting fights and losing them. Perhaps they should think about some method other than fighting, because it isn't working. No amount of these murderous attacks will make Israel go away, and the recent Israeli response ought to show them that Israel's patience is not limitless. If they are really not barbarians, if the future of their people is really important to them, the Palestinian leaders will make peace with Israel."
